Jane is passionate about caring for our beautiful planet and believes it is our responsibility to be good stewards for future generations of humans and all life forms. Her studio is powered with solar panels and 100% renewable energy from the grid at night time.

Whilst using quality art materials, she strives to keep waste to a minimum and deals with it responsibly. She uses recycled materials where possible, without compromising on quality. The gardens surrounding her studio are being nurtured organically and she is working to optimise the life in the soil and build up soil carbon.

From 2013, each time Jane sells a piece of original artwork or a print, she donates money to a good cause. She is currently focussed on donating to the following causes:

• Treesisters.org to plant trees in the tropics where they grow fast, provide habitat, and sequester carbon. To date Jane has funded over 7,000 trees. Treesisters is also passionate about supporting the rise of the feminine, to bring back the balance on our planet and to become a "restorer species" rather then just a "consumer species".
• Australian Marine Conservation Society to protect Australia's ocean life.
• Cairns Turtle Rehabilitation Centre to care for, and release, injured turtles in the Cairns region.

Jane is delighted that she can join with her customers in loving and supporting our natural world.... this it true heart-centred "green" action.... not just "green wash", and it keeps Jane motivated to work hard and be a positive force in the world.
